TrailHeads Power Band Review & Giveaway

The giveaway is now over. Congrats to Laurel C., winner of the TrailHeads Power Band.

Thanks to the friendly folks over at TrailHeads, I was sent the TrailHeads Power Band to test out, review and giveaway a pair to one of your lucky blog readers.

When I received my TrailHeads Power Band, I did what I normally do and put it right on. The Power Band, felt comfortable and snug. One thing I noticed was the that near the ears the material on the hat extended a little lower than the rest of the hat to provide extra warmth to the ears by covering them.
Once I got it on, it was time to take it out on my morning run. Around the Sacramento area, the temperatures have been in the low 40's and a bit dark during my run. The Power Band provided both warmth and extra visibility during my run with it's reflective piping.
The Trailheads website provides the following information about the Power Band:
  • 4-way power stretch fabric is highly breathable and water resistant
  • HyperReflect accents provide enhanced visibility.
  • Polyester fleece wicks away moisture to help regulate body temperature
  • Easily stows away in a pocket
  • One size fits most
Now you have read my review on the TrailHeads Power Band it is your turn to try them out by entering the raffle contest below. If you are in need of other layers such as gloves or other hats, you can save 20% off by using discount code LIVING20 that will work sitewide until 3/3.

    1. I have fairly long hair, so I have tried different options: bandanas, sweatbands, hats, etc...mostly with mixed results. I'd love to try a Power Band!

    2. I definitely run with a headband/ear warmer in the winter. This looks great!

    3. I wear a headband on all my runs. I use a thick one in the winter and a lighter one when its warm

    4. every single time!! I love my headbands!

    5. I love running with headbands, they help keep my hair out of my face! :D

      1. I accidentally tweeted with my page instead of my personal twitter! So I followed with @Neonprincesses instead of @Lindsayknitter. I just wanted to let you know when you validated that I did follow.
